When it comes to relationships, especially on the topic of cheating and infidelity, there are many things that people consider to be cheating, even if it's not in the act of physical behaviors.

Common questions are related to texting other girls, some wonder if flirting is considered cheating, and others wonder if kissing someone else while in a relationship is considered cheating.

The bottom line is, every individual has a different definition. Cheating, in general, is about feeling betrayed in a relationship. If you feel betrayed by your partners' actions, you have been cheated on in some way.

When you feel betrayed, this results in a lot of pain and heartache. Betrayal breaks trust in a relationship which is a core foundation to have in order for your relationship to be healthy and solid.

It is very important to talk to your significant other about each others definition of cheating.

It is crucial to know what your partners' expectations are for you so you can make decisions that will be good for the relationship.

Many couples do have this conversation about their relationship and end up making choices that cause their partners to feel hurt and betrayed.

33% of couples admit to infidelity by either one or both of their partner. And this includes both physical and emotional infidelity.

That is why it is important to know what is considered physical and emotional cheating.

If you clearly know your partners' definition of cheating, then the chances of you, as a couple, experiencing infidelity is a lot less.
