Singapore and the Chinese city of Chongqing committed to further develop their joint Chongqing Connectivity Initiative. The efforts will boost cooperation and trade between western China and Southeast Asia. Manpower Minister Josephine Teo, who was Minister-in-charge of the initiative, had her first meeting with Chongqing Party Secretary Chen Min'er. Mrs Teo said later on Facebook that there was progress in the four priority sectors of financial services, aviation, transport and logistics.
