Join us LIVE from Monaco, where Sotheby's is paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld with the sale of more than 1,000 lots from his residences in France and Monaco - an anthology of his personal taste, but also of his life and career.
***Session I of the Karl Lagerfeld Estate sale had to be postponed due to technical issues affecting bidding. We intend to re-open bidding for the sale at 7pm CET Saturday 4th December and will continue with Sessions II, III, IV and V as originally scheduled.***
The first session of sales will take place from 3 to 5 December at One Monte-Carlo, located in the heart of the Principality. These Monegasque sales will present a broad panorama of art deco works, including a fine selection of furniture by Louis Süe and André Mare, as well as numerous contemporary objects and art by Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami, an important group of works in silver, household linens and glassware - all illustrations of Karl Lagerfeld's lavish lifestyle.
