History Of CIBIL :-
There will be several consequences arise when anyone start defaulting on the loan payments. In such scenario, Lender will report the behaviour to TransUnion CIBIL. The name of the borrower will be appearing in the CIBIL DEFAULTER LIST

In 1994, RBI introduced this scheme to keep hold and information on the defaulters. Initially this scheme introduced for lending of 1 crores and more.

Later on, 1999, there was modification in this scheme and RBI has bifurcated defaulters into two categories:-

Wilful Defaulters-Value 25 lacks and more
Unwilful Defaulters-Value 1 Cr and More.

The Purpose of this scheme was to figure out the genuinely debt or who deliberately not clearing dues.

In 2002, RBI requested Bank and financial institutions and state financial corporation to send the defaulters data to TransUnion CIBIL.
TransUnion CIBIL classify this data into two categories
Suit filed accounts
Non-suit filed accounts.

CIBIL) was set up by SBI in association with HDFC in January 2001, with an authorised capital of Rs.50 crore and a paid up capital of Rs.25 crore, with equity participation of 40 per cent each and two foreign technology partners viz., M/s. Dun & Bradstreet Information Services (India) Pvt. Ltd., and Trans Union International Inc., U.S.A. sharing the remaining 20 per cent equity stake

CIBIL stands for Credit investigation bureau of india Ltd. It is the designated entity approved by the RBI to calculate the Credit ratings of the any individual or any entities.
CIBIL scores ranges between 300 to 900.
300-549-Poor Scores ------------------------- Low Chances Of Loan and very high ROI
550-700-Average Scores --------------------Moderate Chances Of Loan And High ROI
700 and above- Excellent -----------------High Changes Of Loan And Low ROI

For Healthy CIBIL

Credit Utilization :- use your credit limit less than the 30 to 40%. . It is advised to increase your credit limit if expense is more

Type of loans
Secured loans and Unsecured loans. If entity has the secured loan, Higher will be its CIBIL. The more Unsecured Loan, the lesser CIBIL will be.

Always avoids to have too many Credit Cards of different banks

Always keep checking of your CIBIL scores. Sometimes, there might be possibility wrong data updated on CIBIL data base.
