A camera operator for Australian news show 'Sunrise' was punched by a riot police officer while filming the George Floyd protest outside the White House.
The incident occurred as Donald Trump was about to make a speech on the recent protests, in which he vowed "swift and decisive action to protect" Washington DC.
"As we speak," the president said, "I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers... to stop the rioting"
