Global Search is a functionality that allows users to search for apps, folders and files in one place.
For example, Gnome-based distros have it; Plasma-based distros have it; well, Windows has it.
But, Linux Mint still doesn’t have the Global Search functionality.
You need to open its file manager to search specifically for files.
Still, there is a workaround which we will show in one of our future videos.
