Can you spot the artifacts? Ever put together a puzzle? Lots of little pieces that seem random, until you start to gather multiple pieces, and start to see a little bit more of the "picture". It is similar to finding flakes, pottery sherds, fire cracked rock, or even arrowheads (and other stone tools). I get just as excited at spotting broken Native American pottery (sherds), pre-20th century porcelain, thin stone chert flakes (evidence of stone tool making/shaping), and fire cracked rock (round rocks that have heated up & cooled, shattering) from an old fire pit. This footage was from a walk a few weeks ago. I will be posting videos based on research and exploring areas, documenting sites. All site locations are kept confidential for the protection of the sites and also land owners (if on private property). All of the artifacts shown, are left where I found them, as an indicator where the site is an future research when I return to these sites. Thank you for watching.
