This short guided meditation available on the free Plum Village App [ Ссылка ] is an excerpt from the 'The Way Out Is In' podcast series - conversations between journalist and Plum Village lay friend Jo Confino, and Plum Village monastic Brother Phap Huu alongside other guesting monastics. These meditations conclude each episode with practice contemplations on the theme.

#24 In this episode, Brother Phap Huu and Jo talk about how to find peace in ourselves and to encourage peace in the world during times of war. Reflecting on Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh's life, who himself lived through a conflict – the Vietnam War – yet found a way to peace, and to become an activist for transformation, they share about their own reflections on the current violence around the world. The episode ends with a chant on peace from Plum Village recited by Brother Phap Huu: 'May I not be caught in extremes.'
