Today’s garden project is blackberry removal. Himalayan blackberry can be so difficult to remove. In this video I show you the ways I’ve successfully removed it.
Welcome to The Happy Place Garden in Snohomish Washington zone 8. I am Melinda, a self taught gardener, my husband Derrick and I have been developing our 5 acre property ourselves. There wasn’t much here when we bought our home other than some large evergreen trees, stumps and tons and tons of blackberries. We have been working on the garden around the house, what we affectionately call the “pond project”, since 2010. I hope you enjoy watching how the project continues to evolve. It is a labor of love we do ourselves and in our spare time. We both work and have a young son MacGregor so it is definitely not a perfect garden but it is our garden 🍃💗
