Honey Chilli Meatballs Recipe:
Chicken Mince - 500 gms
Ginger (minced) - 1 tbsp
Garlic (minced) - 1 tbsp
Spring Onion (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
Spring Onion Green (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
Soya Sauce - 2 tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
White Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp
Egg - 1 no
Corn Starch - 2 tbsp
Sauce:
Oil - 1 tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 ½ tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - ½ Cup
Soya Sauce - 2 tsp
Honey - 2 tbsp
Salt - ¼ tsp
Spring Onion (chopped) - For Garnish
White Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
Cooking Instructions:
1. Combine the ingredients for the meatballs and mix thoroughly.
2. Rest the meat for 20 mins, refrigerated.
3. Divide into small roundels with greased hands and pan-fry them until cooked through around 10 mins.
4. Combine the ketchup, soya sauce, honey, and salt in a bowl for the sauce.
5. For the preparation, heat oil in a wok.
6. Add the garlic and saute until golden. Add the chili flakes and mix well.
7. Add the sauce mix and bring to a boil.
8. Add the chicken meatballs.
9. Toss well to coat thoroughly.
10. Finish with chopped spring onion greens and sesame seeds.
