The Punjab Cabinet has given its nod to the Excise Policy for 2024-25.
The state is targeting an annual revenue of Rs 10,350 crore through sale of liquor in the state, in the coming fiscal.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers, headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, was held today, where the policy was approved. The Labour Cartage and Transportation Policy for 2023-24 has been extended till July 2024. The new policy will be brought in and approved then.
