Delhi police have released the students who were detained after the police entered the Jamia Millia Islamia University after clashes erupted in the vicinity over the Citizenship Amendment Act. The students were released in the wee hours of Monday from Kalkaji and New Friend’s Colony police stations. Meanwhile, Jamia V-C Najma Akhtar alleged that the police entered the university premises without permission and added that a number of students have been injured in the incident.
