A section of the Carola Bridge, one of the bridges spanning the Elbe River in downtown Dresden, Germany, has partially collapsed, impacting the pedestrian and cycle paths and local tram tracks. According to local the Dresden fire department, the 100-meter-long construction remains at risk of further destruction.
