Complete instructional video on how to remove and replace complete timing chain set including guide, tensioners, and sprockets. Work performed on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.7L. Had just got done replacing valve stem seals and retainers. Upgraded the valve springs to the HO replacements and installed the 08 camshafts then decided to replace the timing chain set.
Torque Specs.
T40 Torx Bolts 13 ft. lbs. or 156 in. lbs.
Idler Gear Shaft Bolt 25 ft. lbs.
Camshaft Sprocket Bolts 90 ft. lbs.
All other Bolts 21 ft. lbs.
Harmonic Balancer Bolt 130 ft. lbs.
Timing Chain Cover Bolt. 40 (ft-lbs)
