Brother Kwesi has dedicated himself to extensive historical research, conducting studies directly at the temples and tombs of Kemet (Egypt). His scholarly pursuits have led him to explore diverse locations, including Ethiopia, Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, and Ghana. Beyond on-site research, he has meticulously documented African Nile Valley history at prestigious institutions like the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, the British Museum in London, England, and the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Recently, he showcased his findings on ancient Kush at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, hosted at the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie. This dynamic speaker has shared his knowledge through lectures at universities and organizations spanning Africa, Great Britain, Japan, the Caribbean, and the United States, making appearances on various television and radio programs.
Ashra Kwesi's journey includes a remarkable 14-year apprenticeship in Kemet (Egypt) under the mentorship of the esteemed African Kemetologist, Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan, affectionately known as Dr. Ben. Collaborating with Dr. Ben, Brother Kwesi conducted extensive field research in Sudan, Ethiopia, and Kenya. Today, he proudly continues Dr. Ben's legacy, passionately educating our African community on the profound history of the African Nile Valley.
