U.S. President Barack Obama arrived in Tokyo on Wednesday (April 23), the first stop on a weeklong Asia tour, to be followed by visits to South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines.
When traveling abroad, Obama flies in Air Force One, the call sign used to refer to one of two highly customized Boeing 747-200Bs used to transport the president of the United States. Once he's landed, he travels in the presidential state car, also known as "Cadillac One" or the "The Beast."
