WPS button is used to connect devices like printers, smart lights, mesh extenders and others to WiFi routers. Those devices often have no way to enter WiFi password so the only way for them to connect to your WiFi is using WPS. You press the WPS button on your router and the WPS light turns on. Then you press the WPS button on the device. Then the device magically connects to WiFi. Usually the router keeps WPS turned on for a couple of minutes so you should not waste any time. Computers and phones, on the other hand, have all means to enter the password to connect to WiFi. Apple explicitly says that iPhones don’t have a WPS button. It means there is no way to connect an iPhone to WiFi using the WPS push button.
