-The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned Sushant Singh Rajput's former Manager Samuel Miranda under provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. He was picked up by a team of the NCB after a 2-hour raid at his residence. Parallel raids were conducted at Rhea Chakraborty's house in Juhu Tara road as well.
The raids were conducted by NCB team members to investigate the alleged drug angle in the case which might expose the Bollywood drug mafia. "It is just a procedural matter. That is what we are following. It is being done at Rhea's and Samuel Miranda's house," an NCB official said.
2. NCB to seize Showik Chakraborty's laptop and hard drive to investigate drug probe in SSR case
-In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided the residence of Rhea Chakraborty at Juhu Tara Road and Samuel Miranda's residence in Mumbai. The raids are in connection with the drug trafficking probe linked to the death case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team is expected to seize Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty's laptop and hard drive for further detailed investigation in the case. The entire Chakraborty family was at home and were co-operating to the probe, as per sources.
3. Sandalwood drug scandal: Crime branch searches actress Ragini Dwivedi's residence in Bengaluru
-In the latest development in the Sandalwood drug case, the city crime branch has reached the residence of actress Ragini Dwivedi a day after a notice was served to appear before the investigative agency for questioning. While Ragini had issued a statement through the lawyers that she would appear on a later date, the raids by the CCB had come as a surprise. Sources suggest that these raids come at the back of a man named Ravi who was arrested by the crime branch. He is said to be very close to Ragini.
4. Palghar lynching case: 'Maharashtra government is not conducting proper probe' says victim's brother
-The Palghar lynching case remains a mystery. It has been 140 days since two sadhus and a driver were lynched to death. The chorus for CBI probe is growing. Jayesh Telgade, brother of the driver who was killed speaks to Times Now asks why there is no proper probe yet? He says the Maharashtra government is not conducting a proper probe.
Insiders say there was political patronage was extended to the complicit in the lynching case. People have even come out to say that there is a botch-up in the probe. Also, the presence of a BJP neta at the time of the lynching case has raised several questions. Insider has proved that there is sabotage.
