Sadegh Zibakalam, politics professor, at Tehran University talks to Al Jazeera about the latest statement of Iran's Supreme Leader.
Zibakalam said that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was addressing Iranian hardliners critical of President Hassan Rouhani's diplomatic efforts.
"Maybe by using those harsh words, he is trying to calm down those hardliners," Zibakalam said.
