Despite being compiled on the same cassette, these acoustic demos (Sliver and Where Did You Sleep Last Night) are not thought to have been recorded at the same sitting.

This is actually an old folk song dating back to 1870. Many know it as "In The Pines" or "Black Girl," performed by Huddie Leadbetter a.k.a. Lead Belly, but in fact it has been recorded by more than a hundred different artists.
