(29 Jul 2020) Flood waters have continued to rise across Bangladesh following monsoon rain which has killed at least 35 people in the country.
At Munshiganj, properties were washed away by a river after levels rose because of the weather.
In nearby Sirajganj, residents were forced to walk through floodwater as they began a clean-up operation.
Asha Khatun, who had to flee her home, said she hasn't been able to eat on some days because there's not enough food.
Mohammed Sahidul Alal, a local official, said that dry food and cooked meals have been distributed to residents as part of an aid effort.
Officials said almost four million people have been affected by monsoon rain in Bangladesh this year.
