Ready for round 2?
Here’s the thing, the height of the fever doesn't correspond to their dehydration status. Your child can have a fast heart rate and respiratory rate with a fever, which leads to something that we call insensible losses and can contribute to some degree of dehydration. The thing that really can determine how well hydrated your child is there a willingness to drink , which many may not when they are ill.
ACV and epsom salt, hard pass. Wont hurt, i guess but may irritate if your child has sensitive skin.
Skip the cold bath though.
And as you’ve heard me say, before - the number, doesn’t matter as much as how your child appears – you can have a sick child even at 101F!
