Jan Showers is a Dallas based interior and for more than 25 years has been a pioneer of French antiques for the Dallas community and other designers. She travels internationally in search of antiques she imports both for her Dallas showroom and for the specific needs of her design clients.
Glamorous Living was published in 2020 and is the third in her collection of design books on the subject of glamour. Her first two titles are Glamorous Rooms and Glamorous Retreats and all three published by Abrams.
Jan takes the reader through luxurious private residences across the United States and invites readers into 20 never-before-photographed homes including a glamorous New York apartment, a London townhouse a historic residence in Austin, a country estate in Houston, and many more. Showers showcases through vibrant photographs how glamorous living can be applied to every interior space, even casual ones.
