(Happy April Fools Day!) - Did you know The Tribe was actually inspired by a classic silent film from 1916 made by Cloud 9's ancestor company, Cloud 1 Silver Screen Entertainment? Our archive team has been hard at work restoring the rediscovered original film reel, so we are excited to share it with you! To experience this visionary silent movie (that was so far ahead of its time) you could even turn down the volume if you prefer. The classic production even included a (then) futuristic looking automobile that looked so far ahead of its contemporary 1916 horseless carriage motor cars and influenced the look of the eventual Zoot car used in the non-silent Tribe version we all know. So grab your popcorn, Easter egg or preferred snack as we return to a golden age of the dawn of the movies. Keep the silent screen and the dream alive.
