Adding MMI mock interviews to your arsenal of MMI prep will undoubtedly reduce the stress and fear of the unknown prior to the test day, but it will also provide the best prep strategies for understanding the best format and building the confidence to answer any question type that may be thrown at you by evaluators.
This interview format will require a lot of preparations. Why? The MMI, whether it’s in-person or virtual, consists of different “stations” that test a variety of skills. Simply put, the format takes getting used to. Whether it’s MMI scenario questions or policy questions, you must prepare a strategy for how to tackle each station. MMI stations are typically categorized in the following groups: scenario, policy, writing, acting, collaboration, personal, and quirky. It’s hard to imagine the MMI format without experiencing it first-hand. This is why we highly recommend practicing with mock MMI interviews.
