A Dutch television report on the 1999 Holland Festival, an annual performing arts festival held in the Netherlands.
In June 1999 Brian Eno was the Festival's principal guest, and a number of Eno-related events were held: an installation at the Stedelijk, a performance of pieces from The Shutov Assembly and other Eno music by the Metropole Orkest, and a performance of Music For Airports by Bang On A Can at Schiphol Airport.
Parts of this video have previously appeared on YouTube (mainly the tetchy interview with Eno), but this longer version also shows glimpses of Eno preparing his installation by painting on the transparencies that he used in slide projectors in the years before the development of 77 Million Paintings, plus brief audio of his Koan-based music.
The video source was poor and the signal frequently dropped out.
