Aunt Esther wants to get divorced because her husband keeps looking at other women. From Season 5, Episode 2 "Divorce, Sanford Style". Following a fight with Woodrow, Aunt Esther moves in with Fred and Lamont. Fred works overtime engineering a reconciliation so she'll return home.

Leroy & Skillet (Leroy Daniels & Ernest 'Skillet' Mayhand) are a rambunctious pair of Fred's friends who like to play poker, billiards or joke around. Nelson B. Davis (James Wheaton) is a mortician who dropped by the Sanford residence several times in the second season.
