In this review I ballistics gel and pattern test BOSS Copper plated Bismuth against HEVI-Shot's HEVI Steel to see which performs better for duck hunting. Both waterfowl loads are premium grade in their categories and deliver good terminal performance, but the bismuth is denser, and the steel is faster. Can the higher velocity make the steel more effective? See which one will pattern better and penetrate deeper.

HEVI Steel Choke Tube Test: [ Ссылка ]
In this video I test:
• BOSS Copper Plated Bismuth #4 shot, 3", 1.5oz (232 pellets), 1350 FPS
• HEVI-Shot HEVI Steel #4 shot, 3", 1.25oz (239 pellets), 1500 FPS
I did this test with all proper safety precautions at an official shooting range with quality ear and eye protection. I used 10% FBI Ballistics Gel with the Mossberg 940 Pro Waterfowl and the Carlsons Sporting Clays XF choke tube.
