The European Council has agreed to extend temporary border controls imposed by five member countries - Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway - to try to limit the flow of migrants coming to the continent. Although the number of migrants arriving has recently dropped, the controls will now be extended for three months. They were supposed to be lifted on Saturday.
