'My Yorkshire' Series features Naina's work on ageing and ethnicity at PRIAE and her motivation to build a not for profit independent international institute in the area, operating for over a decade from the city of Leeds, Yorkshire, instead of London, UK saying 'not all good things must begin in London!'. For her work on ageing of ethnic minorities at PRIAE, Naina was honoured in the Queen's civil list in June 2001 with an 'OBE'. She also received the India Overseas Achiever's Award (2002) and Glory of India Award (2011) from the Government of India.
