Learn the newest methods of making infused herb oils. Different medical properties of herbs can be extracted by oil, alcohol, glycerin, water or even vinegar. When making an infused herbal oil, the newest method includes soaking the dry herbs in a very small amount of alcohol overnight before making the oil, to extract the medical properties not extracted by the oil. Some properties are extracted by heat. Low heat is maintained in a crock pot to extract more of the properties. An uncovered crockpot will allow the alcohol to evaporate from the infused herbal oil.
