The Narrows is one of the most popular hiking spots in the U.S. This hike was done in the winter but even in the summer would still recommend renting water hiking boots and getting the hiking stick. If you don't care about the winter attire skip to 2:42 to get to the hiking. This was the first time hiking the Narrows and I thought we were going to freeze but not even close. Turned out to be an absolutely fabulous time, and never got cold while hiking in near freezing water in February.
