Although we may know the importance of risk taking in our lives, it can sometimes feel hard to take chances when we need to the most. Bodhi Brunings discusses the obstacles which discourage us from doing what is most important in his defense of risk taking. Bodhi is a Junior at York School who is passionate about a great number of things. Bodhi is known for being an insightful participant in class discussions, a player in York athletics such cross country and track, a member of student council and an organizer of community service projects. He is known outside of York for his actives in California YMCA Youth and Government and as an upcoming member of the High School Student Congress in Lexington, Kentucky. Bodhi has learned the value of risk taking through these activities and now seeks to express to his community the special significance of this ability.
