The world's oldest surviving printed book is the Diamond Sutra, a Buddhist religious text, which was printed using woodblocks in 868 AD during the Tang Dynasty in China . It is currently held at the British Library in London, UK . Although the Diamond Sutra is the earliest complete book to be found intact, individual sheets of woodblock-printed paper have been found dating to the early Tang Dynasty . The book was printed on 7-inch by 17-foot scroll made up of seven sheets of paper glued together. The text is in Chinese, with commentary in Sanskrit and Tibetan
