Take a look at what it takes to install an 8 pin DCC decoder into a DCC ready locomotive with an 8 pin receptacle.
The test subject is a rather strange piece, however this was requested by a subscriber and I couldn’t find anything else ready to have a decoder in it. This engine will be seen more on camera in some time.
Saying “just put it in” would’ve probably been a better use of my time, but it doesn’t do the old video justice. This is a remake of my old video involving the F40PH, it was old and outdated and admittedly a bit cringe. That F40PH is actually in the workshops right now, however you will see it back in action in due time. It’s been about a year and I wasn’t sure what else to do, so this made the most sense.
