The difference between EVERYDAY and EVERY DAY in English.
Every day and Everyday sound the same in spoken English but are written differently and have different meanings.
What is the difference between Every day and Everyday?
One is an adverbial phrase and the other is an adjective.
They are NOT interchangeable.
First we look at EVERY DAY (two words) and how it is used as an adverbial phrase with example sentences.
Then we look at EVERYDAY (one word) and how it is used as an adjective. We give examples sentences using EVERYDAY.
Once we have explained the differences, there is an exercises where the viewer needs to complete sentences with either EVERY DAY or EVERYDAY in the blank space. The answers will appear after a small amount of time.
Don’t worry, native English speakers are often confused about whether to write every day as two words or everyday as one word.
Remember, you should to learn English EVERY DAY!
