The Good Clinical Trials Collaborative (‘The Collaborative’) was established in 2020 to develop and promote the adoption of new guidance to enable better Randomized Controlled Clinical Trials (RCTs).
Led by Professor Sir Martin Landray, The Collaborative brought together a global, multidisciplinary group of individuals and organizations to write and review the guidance, driven by the belief that the evidence generated by good RCTs elevates the standard of healthcare everywhere.
They established 5 key principles of RCTs that underpin what makes an RCT good in its design and analysis, as well as ethical and social value; and why this is so.
In this introductory webinar, attendees will hear about the rationale for and development of the Collaborative’s guidance, along with ongoing activities to promote and implement it.
We will be joined by experts from diverse areas of the clinical trial ecosystem, who will add their perspectives on the value of and uses for the guidance to address current challenges in RCTs.
There will be opportunities to pose questions to the speakers during an informative and thought-provoking webinar and we welcome anyone with a professional role, or just an interest in, clinical trials in any context - as well as trial participants and patient representatives.
