Continuing with the bathroom remodel, in this video I will prepare the floor and walls and shower pan for tile. On the floor, I'll be putting down cement board and covering the seams with fiberglass mesh tape and thinset mortar. On the walls, I'm using the Schluter Kerdi waterproof membrane system and for the shower pan I'm using a Schluter Kerdi shower pan.

In this series of videos I will be transforming an awkwardly laid out 5ft x 7ft bathroom into a 7ft x 7ft bathroom with modern updates, a curbless shower with a glass panel, a pocket door, and an LED lighted shower niche.
