Last month Old Mutual's sacked its CEO Peter Moyo. Having been at the helm of the country's second-biggest insurer for two years, Moyo was fired due to a breakdown in trust and conflicts of interest. But, what constitutes a breakdown in trust between an employer and employee? Can an employer simply rely on this to dismiss an employee? And what about the rights of the employee.
