Allan Hunt Badiner is a writer and an activist who is interested in how Buddhism relates to modern social problems. Allan edited the book, Zig Zag Zen: Buddhism and Psychedelics, as well as two other books of collected essays: Dharma Gaia: A Harvest in Buddhism and Ecology, and Mindfulness in the Marketplace: Compassionate Responses to Consumerism. His new book, currently in the works, is called Buddhaland: The Eight Great Places of Pilgrimage in India.
