Alex Gonzales (born 30 July 1986) better known as King Lil G, formerly Lil Gangster, is an American rapper of Mexican descent from South Central, Los Angeles.
Gonzales was born in Inglewood, California, the city where he grew up and was raised alone by his mother. During his youth, Gonzales became gang member, was thrown from his school, became a father while being in jail.
He started his music career under the name Lil Gangster and sign the PR Records label under which he published his first mixtapes Underground Chpt. 1, LA County's Most Wanted and Hood Money.
On 10 March 2015 King Lil G released album 90's Kid, which contains the single Grow Up (3.7 million views), placed 16th Billboard R & B Albums.
King Lil G has a style influenced by rappers of the 1990s, including Tupac Shakur. It even makes tribute to Eazy-E, who died in 1995, his song named 9'6. King Lil G often talks about his difficult childhood among the gangs in his lyrics.
