Somewhere towards the end, I said something along the lines of "Neither of these radios are part 97 certified". I have misspoken there. As far as I can read, Part 97 are standards and do not require certification. Part 15 certification is typically required.
The UV9R+ definitely does not fall under the Part 97, as the spurious emissions standards were exceeded. I will make another video on the differences in standards in the near future.

Regardless of what people think about Baofeng Radios (One side or the other), I enjoy testing any radios I get my hands on. These ones are extremely fun to test. I
In this episode, I test the UV-9R. Is there any difference between it and the UV-9R+? Kinda. I do mention multiple times in the video, and wish to reiterate: None of my tests should be considered official tests. I have however, done the tests to the best of my capabilities.
