In this short how-to knife making video Dan Berg from www.Bergknifemaking.com demonstrates how to add dove tail bolsters and scales to this stainless full tang knife. He starts be cutting and rough grinding the bolster material. Then finishes and polishes the forward edge before grinding the angle for the dove tail. The bolsters are hammer peened in place and then handles or scales added. The assembly is profiles and shaped before sharpening the knife.
