Eliran Kantor is the artist behind many of the album covers metalheads love. He's done work with Testament, Hatebreed, Helloween, Sigh, Venom Prison, Archspire, Soulfly and so many more. He sits down with Jon "StayPuft" Garcia on KNOTFEST's The Breakdown to chat about how he became a full-time album artist, why metal and its artwork are so intertwined, how Beavis & Butt-head were a big inspiration for music and art, and how he executes the visual concept. He also details how pieces like Sigh's In Somniphobia, Testament's Dark Roots of the Earth, and Venom Prison's Animus and Samsara were born.
