Lark as a model name was ending this year...and Studebaker reverted to previous model names like this Commander. Only two more model years remained for this pioneer of transportation. Very nice interior, but the car's lines didn't materially change over several years and were becoming dated. Meanwhile, the number of cars in the compact class had mushroomed, so competition was intense.
