This is an African Honeybee trap-out removal from a palm tree.

We decide to do a honeybee trap out for this removal as the owner did not want to damage the palm tree with a cut-out.
We use a mesh cone to cover the entrance the bees use. This allows the bees to leave but confuses them when they return.
We then provide them with a new catch box with comb where the returning foragers can store their resources.
After 21 days the bees will have emerged from the original hive and moved into the new box.
We then take the colony of bees in the catch box to the apiary.
Please always use a responsible beekeeper to remove unwanted bees. All bees can be saved and there is never a need to kill them. For more information please visit our website ([ Ссылка ]) or email stuart@bee-sanctuary.com.
At Bee Sanctuary we are on a mission to save and relocate 10,000 honey bee colonies because of the critical role they play in the ecosystem.
