The BYD Europe has announced the launch of its all-electric BYD Tang SUV into the passenger car market in Norway. Aimed squarely at families, the seven-seat vehicle boasts an ultra-high level of technology to appeal to discerning Norwegian car buyers.
The BYD Tang features a class-leading range of up to 505km (NEDC) and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6-seconds, as well as a bold new look for the Norwegian SUV sector. The 2021 model offers seven seats upholstered in brown leather and waffle stitching, with both driver and front passenger seats ventilated and heated for enhanced luxury. The large panoramic glass roof lets natural light flood into the interior, while 31 different LED lighting configurations provide optimum comfort at lower light levels.
The BYD Tang also comes with 4G technology, DAB radio and OTA (Over-the-Air Technology), all future-proofed so that more is capable of being added as technology advances. Furthermore, it has been lauded worldwide for recently introducing its innovative electric ‘Blade Battery’ - lighter and more robust than other electric car batteries - which managed an incredibly low 60 degrees Celsius following a stringent nail test without any fire or explosive response.
