कई बार भोजन करने के बाद खाना गले में आने जैसा महसूस होता है। इसे हाइटल हर्निया कहते हैं। यह दिक्कत युवावस्था के बाद ही होती है। इससे भोजन नली और पेट को जोड़े रखने वाले वॉल्व के कमजोर हो जाता है। इस कारण पेट का कुछ भाग भोजन नली में आ जाता है। जिससे खाना भी ऊपर की ओर आ जाता है। जाने इस समस्या से जुड़े अन्य लक्षण व कारणों के बारे में - एंडोस्कोपी से रोग की स्थिति का पता कर दवाओं से इलाज करते हैं। भोजन से आधा घंटा पहले दवा देते हैं ताकि भोजन तेजी से पेट से आगे चला जाए। इसके अलावा खानपान में परहेज व दिनचर्या में बदलाव भी जरूरी होता है। ५-१० साल से दिक्कत है तो फंडोप्लीकेशन तकनीक से वॉल्व रिपेयर करते हैं। खानपान में मीठी, खट्टी, तैलीय चीजों से परहेज करें। भोजन करने के तुरंत बाद लेटने से बचें। खाने के आधे घंटे बाद पानी पीएं। रात को सोने से ३-४ घंटे पहले भोजन करें। सोते समय सिरहाना ऊंचा रखें। इसमें नियमित हल्के व्यायाम भी किए जा सकते हैं। आंतें मजबूत होती हैं।
