Shadow Home Office minister Jess Phillips has said the strategy to tackle violence against women and girls is “not ambitious enough”.
It comes as the government has announced a crackdown on sexual harassment as part of its strategy to tackle violence against women and girls, including commissioning a rape and sexual assault helpline and updated guidance for schools to ensure staff know how to deal with reports of sexual violence and harassment.
