A quick and easy recipe of praline using walnuts
WALNUT PRALINE
Ingredients
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup castor sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup fresh cream
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon maple syrup
10-15 walnuts finely chopped
¼ cup butter
Method
1. Heat brown sugar and castor sugar together in a non-stick pan along with salt.
2. Add fresh cream and stir well when sugar starts melting.
3. Add vanilla essence and maple syrup. Mix well.
4. Add walnut and mix well, bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
5. Spread on baking tray and leave aside to set overnight.
6. Serve.
